In the future society, one of the important required abilities for students is to develop creative thinking, rather than memorization. In order to improve creative ability in students’ mind in mathematics curriculum, it is recommended that contents as well as processes in mathematical assessments should be changed, as confirmed by researchers. Nowadays, that is why different assessment formats, such as performance assessment, constructed-response assessment, and mathematical essays, are often actively discussed.
